Lubov Furs is a professional photographer. She graduated from the Department of Art Photography and Videography of the Kemerovo State University of Arts and Culture. Lubov has worked as a photojournalist and film-maker for various publications and TV channels. She is the recipient of numerous awards and prizes at both international and domestic photography contests.
Lubov’s native town is Novokuznetsk, in southwestern Siberia. She reminisces, “As a child, I spent my summers at summer camps in the beautiful mountainous areas of the Kuznetsky Alatau, and in winter, my family often went skiing in the rolling hills of Tashtagol and Sheregesh. It is no wonder that the love of nature has implanted itself in my soul firmly and unwaveringly. I began to photograph at the age of fourteen, and became a professional photographer in my late thirties.”
